Terms of Service

The proposed terms for using Orbit’s site, portal, and services.

Draft for legal review. Do not treat this page as final legal terms or a completed compliance notice.

1. This working draft

These Terms describe the intended rules for using Orbit’s public site, client portal, and staff tools. They are a working draft for counsel review and must be finalized with Orbit’s legal entity, governing law, dispute process, and contact details before a public launch.

2. Orbit’s service

Orbit provides a workflow for item submissions, submission review, photography scheduling, listing preparation, first-party Orbit Shop checkout, sale coordination, pickup scheduling, and payout status visibility. Eligible Shop listings may be purchased through the saved order and payment confirmation flow shown on the site.

3. Accounts and submissions

You are responsible for accurate account and submission information, including item condition, ownership, provenance, photographs, and any relevant restrictions. A submission does not guarantee acceptance, valuation, listing, sale, payout, or a particular sale price.

4. Item review and consignment

Any accepted item, commission, pricing, custody, insurance, transport, return, payout, and sale terms should be governed by a separate, finalized consignment agreement or written confirmation. This site does not replace that agreement.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Orbit to submit unlawful, counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, or infringing items; interfere with the service; or attempt to access another person’s records. Orbit may restrict access or remove content to protect the service and comply with applicable requirements.

6. Content and ownership

You retain rights you hold in the materials you submit. You grant Orbit the limited permission needed to review, operate, document, prepare, and—where separately authorized—present an item through Orbit’s services.

7. Changes and contact

Orbit may update these Terms as the service develops. Before launch, this section must identify the responsible legal entity, mailing address, and designated support contact for notices and questions.
